After Spain's exhilarating 5-4 victory over France in the Nations League semi-final, Barcelona midfielder Gavi was seen wearing the jersey of his former team-mate, Ousmane Dembele. The two shared an emotional embrace, exchanged shirts, and Gavi later posted a heartfelt message: "I love you brother."

The 20-year-old and Dembele built a strong friendship during their time at Barcelona. Gavi was still in the youth system when Dembele arrived from Borussia Dortmund but the pair spent two seasons together after the youngster was brought up to the senior squad before the Frenchman left for Paris Saint-Germain in 2023.
